This reconditioned turbocharger fits selected Renault Twingo III and Smart 453 models fitted with the 0.9 turbocharged petrol engine. Applications include Twingo III 0.9 TCe 90, TCe 95 and TCe 110, plus selected Smart Forfour and Fortwo Cabriolet 0.9 models.

This turbocharger covers selected H4B and M281 engine variants producing between 90HP and 109HP. Before fitting, check the oil feed and return, crankcase breather system, intercooler, boost pipes and turbo control system, and identify the cause of the original turbo failure. It is also essential that the root cause of the original turbocharger failure is identified before fitting the replacement. In many cases there is an underlying issue that also needs attention, such as a blocked DPF. This is one of the most common contributing factors, and fitting a new turbo without resolving it can place the replacement under unnecessary strain.

Unless otherwise stated, warranty is provided to the original purchaser for repair or replacement of the turbocharger for 1 year from the date of purchase or 12,000 miles (whichever occurs first). Warranty covers the turbocharger for faulty workmanship or components and does not extend to damage caused by misuse in fitting or operation.
The reason for failure of the previous turbocharger must be rectified prior to fitting a replacement. Air and oil filters, engine oil, gaskets and the oil feed pipe need to be changed or replaced. Proof of purchase of components may be required to support any claims.
Proof and date of the original purchase will be required before considering any warranty claim, and the unit must be returned complete. Any attempt to dismantle or repair the unit will invalidate the conditions of warranty. Warranty does not cover any cost of labour or materials required to remove or reinstall the turbocharger.
Delivery is available within the United Kingdom and internationally, subject to availability. Free delivery applies to turbochargers supplied to UK mainland addresses unless otherwise stated. Delivery timeframes provided are estimates only.
Stock items ordered before 3 pm are typically dispatched the same working day for next-day delivery. Orders placed after 3 pm, at weekends or on bank holidays will be dispatched on the next working day.
Non-stock or special-order items are subject to lead times, which will be confirmed separately. Certain geographical locations may require extended delivery periods.
Please inspect goods immediately upon delivery. Where packaging is visibly damaged, delivery should be refused and reported without delay.
If you need to return a turbocharger or send a unit back to us, please contact us first so we can advise on the correct process.
Where a unit is being returned or collected, it must be securely packaged in a suitable, rigid cardboard box and adequately protected using appropriate packaging materials. Non-essential components, including oil feed pipes, oil return pipes, sensors, wiring, brackets, and ancillary fittings, should be removed before sending.
Where return shipment is arranged by the customer, please retain proof of shipment and tracking details.
Please check your turbocharger part number before ordering. Many vehicles use more than one turbocharger version depending on model year, engine code, power output, emissions setup and actuator type.
